Heartwood (working title) blends Buddhist philosophy, poetry, botany, and the body into a journey from stranger to kin with trees. 

Heartwood invites readers to develop a reciprocal, sensuous relationship with the earth, opening the possibility for mutual healing in an eco-erotic, intertangled wonder. Trees are interconnection, embodied, and by apprenticing them, we can learn how to foster and sustain collective liberation.

Through a constellation of practice, prayer, mantra and movement, readers will fnd their own center of gravity in a world amidst a free fall and become re-enchanted to vitally participate in the vast web of simmering, pulsing, breathing life that is in us and all around us.
