“Let us live in a way that Earth will be grateful for us.”

          - Robin Wall Kimmerer
We are facing global climate collapse and social upheaval. Tailored support to navigate the psychological, spiritual and emotional challenges of this time is essential. When facing a question as big as, will we survive, other questions such as existential purpose, mortality, and how to show up meaningfully to a suffering Earth co-arise. Resulting anxiety, sorrow, freeze and grief are very normal.

And so I ask, how can we seed possibility for new beginnings to take root in the compost of this decay?

I work in a practice I am terming Ecological Wisdom Direction, an emerging field that brings together environmentalism and the spiritual values of reverence for nature, interconnectedness, reciprocity, and service.

I facilitate practice circles, groups and retreats to renew our relationship to the living world, and to gently navigate and support all that comes with these fractured times.

I source from various wisdom and mindfulness traditions including ecological practice, Mayahana Buddhism and the Bodhisattva path, mystical Christianity, sacred chanting and mantra, yoga, mindful movement, ecstatic dance, embodiment, nervous system regulation, and conscious service.

This philisophy is based on the Buddhist principles of; Ahimsa (do no harm), Karuna (compassion), Metta (lovingkindness) and Paṭicca-samuppāda (interconnection).

This role is called “Eco-Doula” as a bow to the midwife who brings forth life. Even in the midst of global warming, extreme weather, climate refugees, loss of biodiversity and wild spaces, pillaging of indigenous sacred lands, loss of natural resources and more, new life is still possible. My desire is to be a small piece in that arrival.

Together I will accompany you to navigate grief, death and dying in order to foster meaningful hope. I extend a spaciousness to support your growth into a way of being that is generative and full. I will also weave practice and ritual to help you deepen your relationship with the living world. Together we will find you an island of coherence.

My work is especially informed by my Buddhist eco-chaplaincy certificate including Deep Ecology, my masters degree in psychology and my training in trauma-informed care.
